Here are some tips on shooting insects : • Don't use a gun. • Be patient . It may get very tiring as you have to stand for a long time. • Don't wait for insect to come closer to you. Move slowly and go close to the insect. • Focus : Focusing on insect is tough. Compose and take multiple shots by moving your mobile close and a bit far from the insect. So if one shot is slightly off focus you can use the other. • Try to be stable and avoid mobile shakes. Let insects do the moving part. • Lighting : For me cloudy days are best to shoot,  not just for insects but also for portraits. The light is soft and the shadows doesn't get harsh. If it's a bright sunny day, try to find a spot in the shades. It'll get you better shots and keep you away from hot sunlight. • Don't delete your shots while you're shooting. Concentrate on shooting and keep the deleting part for later. Bright daylight might not be best to view and judge the shot. •
